As a Production Associate, your primary responsibility will be to operate production lines safely and efficiently, ensuring the quality of our automotive glass products. We offer a starting wage of up to $22.35 per hour, with an additional $1.00 shift premium based on experience. Our employees also benefit from a quarterly bonus potential of up to 10.5% of eligible earnings, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans, paid vacation, and attendance incentives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety for yourself and your colleagues, reporting any concerns to supervisors.
  • Operate production equipment according to established procedures to meet quality standards.
  • Supply production lines with necessary raw materials.
  • Safely operate forklifts as needed.
  • Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure product standards.
  • Troubleshoot production line issues as they arise.
  • Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the production area following 5S principles.
  • Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
  • Familiarity with trimming and banding tools, machinery monitoring, and mechanical adjustments.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with measurement tools.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving extensive hand and finger use.
  • Capability to climb stairs and ladders, visually inspect items for defects.
  • Willingness to learn quality standards for automotive glass production.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work a rotating shift schedule.
  • Team-oriented with good work and safety habits.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs. repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work both voluntary and mandatory overtime.
