Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Transportation Network team at Walmart. As a key member of our organization, you will contribute to the success of our supply chain operations by analyzing and optimizing transportation shipments for the best cost and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling Management: Enter data into multiple systems, including scheduling appointments and maintaining load information through load boards and tracking sheets.
  • Supplier Database Management: Prepare, review, and maintain supplier contact information databases.
  • Customer Service and Relationship Building: Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring customer needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams through written and verbal means, ensuring timely updates and resolution of any issues.
  • Problem-solving and Decision-making: Employ critical thinking and sound decision-making skills to resolve operational problems and optimize supplier performance.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Embrace a customer-centric mindset, identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years' experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • Skills: Microsoft Office, Retail Operations, Transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in logistics, supply chain management, brokerage, or related field.
