Your Role:

In this pivotal position, you will:

  • Uphold the company's mission, vision, values, and objectives in your daily tasks.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentorship in the electrical controls process to skilled trades and fellow team members.
  • Facilitate resource coordination to identify root causes and implement solutions, breaking down complex issues into manageable components.
  • Oversee the maintenance of PLC-based control systems for manufacturing automation and instrumentation.
  • Direct the design, development, and testing of electrical control methodologies, materials, processes, and outcomes.
  • Lead projects and support skilled trades in electrical disciplines.
  • Assist operations with electrical and controls troubleshooting and initiatives for continuous improvement.
  • This full-time, salaried position is part of our Engineering Team and reports directly to the Engineering Manager.

Qualifications:

· A Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, controls, or automation engineering is required; a Master's degree is advantageous. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

· A background in electrical work (electrician or technician) is preferred.

· Proficiency with Vision Systems is essential.

· Familiarity with PLC/CNC systems (Siemens/Allen-Bradley), as well as ABB and FANUC Robots.

· Experience in Lean Manufacturing practices.

· Strong hands-on electrical and mechanical skills.

· Competence in working with electrical and controls circuitry and schematics.

· Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.

· Proficiency in reading and writing in English, along with the capability to perform mathematical calculations.
