Carryout Associate

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Carryout Attendant to join our team at Bob Evans Restaurants. As a Carryout Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our carryout guests, ensuring their orders are prepared and packaged accurately and promptly.

• Greet all guests in a warm and welcoming manner
• Understand and utilize menu knowledge and situational selling techniques to assist carryout guests
• Package food and beverage orders, condiments, and appropriate items promptly and accurately
• Communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and help them with menu selections
• Wear a headset to communicate with managers and teammates to expedite the guest experience
• Handle cash and credit transactions, accurately accounting for all receivables
• Practice safe food and beverage handling and maintain a clean work environment
• Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and stock levels of the bakery and retail areas
• Effectively handle guest complaints and involve managers at the appropriate time
• Answer phone calls using a company script in a fast and friendly manner
• Accurately input carryout orders into the computer system
• Assist in expediting and delivering meals to dine-in guests

• 0-2 years of related experience
• Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
• Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
• Detailed-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks

While performing the duties of this job, you will regularly be required to:

• Stand for entire shifts and walk for long periods of time without rest or sitting down

• Verbally communicate with others and use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
