Job Summary: Edgewood Health and Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled Housekeeping / Laundry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning and disinfecting resident rooms, common areas, and equipment.
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens and clothing.
- Restock supplies and maintain a clean and organized housekeeping area.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements:
- Good leadership qualities and ability to work independently.
- Organized and detailed in work performance.
- Good communication skills and excellent self-discipline and patience.
- Genuine caring for and interest in elderly and disabled people in a nursing facility.
- Comply with Residents Rights and Facility Policies and Procedures.
