Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplined Engineer to join our team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our Propulsion Plant Team Trainer Programs & Engineering subdivision, you will be responsible for designing, fabricating, assembling, installing, testing, and delivering a full-scale propulsion plant hardware simulator to support the Next Generation Training Program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and conduct independent work efforts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Interface with stakeholders to ensure project objectives are being met
  • Perform design reviews and technical interchanges with Suppliers as well as internal NNL stakeholders
  • Review and disposition Supplier design submittals to validate designs based on technical requirements
  • Support on-site hardware inspections and testing of production equipment at Supplier facilities and remote NNL sites
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to think creatively and make recommendations to senior project personnel
  • Ability to work independently or in a group setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
