Actuarial Leadership Opportunity

Centene Corporation invites applications for a Senior Actuary position. As a key member of the Risk Adjustment team, you'll be responsible for leading data-driven analyses to drive change and improve outcomes, overseeing a portfolio of Medicaid Risk Adjustment initiatives, and ensuring timely and accurate updates to Risk Adjustment Initiative Revenue and Expense for forecasting. The estimated salary for this role is $130,000 - $190,000 per year.

About the Role

This Senior Actuary will serve as the primary contact for Risk Adjustment in 5-6 Medicaid markets, working closely with actuaries across various markets and lines of business to drive strategic discussions and share knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Lead data-driven analyses to drive change and improve outcomes
  • Oversee portfolio of Medicaid Risk Adjustment initiatives
  • Ensure timely and accurate updates to Risk Adjustment Initiative Revenue and Expense for forecasting

Requirements

  • 7+ years of actuarial experience with Associate in Society of Actuaries (ASA) certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Preferred skills: SAS, SQL, or Teradata experience
