Position Summary:
As a Logistics Operations Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing inventory and transportation logistics for various wholesalers. Your focus will be on ensuring streamlined supply chain processes, cost optimization, and effective communication between wholesalers and transportation partners. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting inventory assessments to maintain optimal stock levels for wholesalers while utilizing push system technology for cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinating transportation schedules for product shipments and returnable materials, collaborating with transportation experts to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Developing relationships with carriers to enhance operational efficiency and ensure quality and timely pickups.
  • Adjusting inbound and outbound logistics requirements to facilitate smooth product flow.
  • Maintaining safe inventory levels while managing costs and minimizing waste.
  • Overseeing outbound logistics to ensure wholesalers meet inventory targets and optimize truck utilization.
  • Monitoring carrier performance to support customer service and product quality.
  • Managing both planned and unplanned logistics events, including product launches, recalls, and emergency shipments.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in logistics, warehouse management, or transportation (preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
