Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at National Park Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care that meets JCAHO, Hospital, and other accrediting agencies' requirements and standards.
  • Direct and guide patient teaching and activities of ancillary personnel.
  • Maintain standards of professional nursing and act as a preceptor for new orientees on the nursing unit.
  • Participate in educational conferences and updates to maintain professional growth in areas of responsibility.
  • Work collaboratively with the medical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Currently licensed in the state of Arkansas.
  • Prior clinical experience is preferred, but beginning practitioners will be considered.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a good working relationship with interdepartmental, intradepartmental, and medical staff.
  • Certified in CPR and obtain NRP if required by home department.
