We are seeking a skilled Renal Care Specialist to join our team at Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake, NY. As a key member of our dialysis unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals requiring hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis treatment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to individuals with acute and chronic kidney disease
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Assist with training and education of patients and families on dialysis treatment and self-care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
- Minimum 2 years of current experience in acute care nursing
- Experience in renal care and dialysis treatment preferred
- Current BLS certification and New York state license required
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Competitive hourly rate with local traveler discount
- Opportunity to work with a state-of-the-art dialysis unit
