Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Coordination: Lead and coordinate activities of vendors and workers engaged in repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment.
- Maintenance and Repair: Direct and assign the day-to-day workload of the Maintenance Technicians, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.
- Quality and Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and other related activities to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and affect greater utilization of labor and materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain project, maintenance, and repair parts and supplies inventories, and originate and implement purchase order processes.
- Vendor Management: Coordinate outside vendors to perform scheduled maintenance and repairs in specialized areas, and review performance for quality and cost effectiveness.
- Training and Development: Train new Maintenance Technicians and coordinate ongoing training of existing staff.
- Software Management: Manage and operate the Maintenance/Inventory/PM Software Program.
- Education: Two-year Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of five years Industrial Maintenance Technician experience is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude.
- Collaboration: Ability to work independently and collaboratively with managers, employees, vendors, and customers.
