Role Overview
We are currently seeking a construction-focused intern to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in the heavy civil construction sector, particularly in water and wastewater facilities.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project management tasks, including change orders and Requests for Information (RFIs).
- Prepare look-ahead schedules utilizing data from subcontractors.
- Generate various reports, such as submittal and RFI logs, and manage document control.
- Process submittals and RFIs efficiently.
- Update working drawings to reflect RFIs and changes, ensuring the team has access to the most current information.
- Perform basic calculations and provide technical support for construction activities.
- Liaise with vendors for necessary information.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- A strong interest in a career in heavy construction.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with excellent writing and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within diverse teams.

Preferred Experience
- Previous internship experience in the heavy construction industry is advantageous.

Compensation
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $20 to $28, depending on prior experience.
