Associate Attorney

A dynamic and reputable law firm, The Law Office of Sarah A. Okrzynski, LLC, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our team. We are a full-service creditor's rights law firm with a statewide presence in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

• Conduct research and provide legal advice on civil litigation matters
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court
• Provide guidance and oversight to non-attorney staff to ensure efficiency and compliance with laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues through emails and other means

• Juris Doctor (J.D) degree from an accredited law school
• Licensed in and in good standing in Ohio, Kentucky, or Indiana
• Licensed in more than one state a plus
• 5-7 years experience in creditors rights, replevin, impound, and bankruptcy
• Strong work ethic and ability to work under tight deadlines
• Strong legal research skills
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Strong writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software
• Ability to manage others
• Must have a positive attitude, be a team player, and demonstrate problem-solving skills and flexibility
