Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated LPN specializing in wound care to join our team. This full-time role offers a competitive starting pay ranging from $25 to $30 per hour, with additional compensation for evening, night, and weekend shifts.

- Assess and monitor patients for skin issues, implementing treatment plans as directed by physicians.
- Administer medications and document all treatments accurately.
- Maintain detailed records of patient progress, symptoms, and care interventions.
- Collaborate with the supervising RN to provide comprehensive patient updates.
- Prepare reports for the Director of Nursing to support departmental initiatives.
- Assist in the management of acute and chronic wounds, including pressure ulcers and skin infections.
- Communicate effectively with attending physicians regarding patient care.
- Facilitate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
- Conduct compliance rounds and address any relevant issues.
- Support the Director of Nursing in following up on consultant recommendations.
- Ensure accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Promote a positive image of the organization through effective communication and leadership.
- Participate in committees and collaborative projects to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the success of the organization.
- Degree in nursing from an accredited institution or completion of an approved LPN program.
- Current LPN license in the state of Georgia.
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to engage positively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting safety protocols and operational guidelines.
- Basic mathematical skills for medication administration.
- Ability to apply common sense in various situations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
