Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and manage a team of clinical staff, including LPNs, Medical Assistants, and other support staff.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Provide guidance and support to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Clinical Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day clinical operations of the ambulatory care services, including patient flow, staffing, and resource allocation.
- Ensure that all clinical staff are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Quality and Safety
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- Monitor and report on quality and safety metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Ensure that all clinical staff are aware of and comply with organizational policies and procedures related to quality and safety.
- Communication and Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure that patient care and services are aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Education
- Diploma or Associate's degree from an accredited LPN program.
- Experience
- At least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an ambulatory care setting.
- Previous supervisory or management experience preferred.
- Licenses and Certifications
- Current LPN licensure in the state of Pennsylvania or multi-state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
