Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at the Retail Operations Center - ROC (51st Ave. & Van Buren). As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for transporting materials and ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate sit-down forklifts to transport materials and merchandise within the warehouse
  • Ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Perform pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any issues or concerns to leadership
  • Load and unload merchandise containers from trailers and straight trucks, ensuring safety at all times
  • Operate hydraulic lifts and pallet jacks to move merchandise containers
  • Perform visual inspections of contents and manually remove any breakable materials
  • Sweep and/or dust daily, and sweep and mop floors as directed
  • Follow daily product placement plan schematic
  • Model Goodwill Core Values – Trust, Collaboration, Engagement, Ownership, and Innovation
Requirements
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 months or more experience with a sit-down forklift
  • Ability to be trained and take direction
  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position
