Job Description

The Garland Independent School District is seeking an experienced District-Level Administrator to fill the position of Executive Director of Teaching and Learning. This role will require a strong understanding of education leadership principles, curriculum development, and instructional design.

Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and direction to elementary teaching and learning teams across the district
- Develop and implement district-wide instructional strategies aligned with state and national standards
- Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to design and deliver high-quality professional development opportunities
- Analyze data to inform instruction and drive student achievement

Requirements
- Master's degree in education or related field
- Doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction, educational leadership, or related field (preferred)
- Valid Texas Teacher Certification
- Valid Texas Administrator Certification or other appropriate certifications
- Three (3) years of successful classroom experience
- Three (3) years of successful district-level administrative experience
