Boscov's Retail Jewelry Department Sales Associate

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Retail Jewelry Sales Associate to join our dynamic sales team at Boscov's. As a key member of our retail operations, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth in our Fine Jewelry department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing personalized service and ensuring their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell merchandise and promote products through point of sale, while maintaining a thorough understanding of our product offerings and company standards.
  • Store Appearance and Maintenance: Ensure the selling floor is well-maintained, visually appealing, and free of clutter, adhering to company standards and expectations.
  • Marketing and Sales Initiatives: Participate in marketing activities, such as opening new Boscov's charge accounts, to achieve sales goals and drive business growth.
  • Transaction Processing and Customer Service: Accurately and efficiently complete all transactions, process paperwork, and provide exceptional customer service, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain awareness of advertised merchandise, process and maintain stock, and assist in receiving, folding, straightening, and replenishing merchandise.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Prior retail sales experience and/or customer service experience, preferred. Prior retail and/or selling experience in Fine Jewelry/Gemstones is a plus.
  • Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, proficiency with basic math skills, and ability to learn selling skills and operate a POS register and telxon.
  • Availability: Available to work varied days and hours as work schedule requires, including evenings and weekends.
