The Department of Technology is looking for a Senior Technology Project Manager to oversee the development, planning, and implementation process of difficult and complex information technology projects. This position will facilitate collaboration with the Mayor's office, departments, and the Architecture Review Committee to achieve the City's objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise information technology project management staff to include conducting performance appraisals, approving leave requests, and recommending disciplinary action.
  • Direct the enterprise project management staff to ensure that organizational guidelines and policies for monitoring changes to business structures and processes within departments across the City are being met.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to enterprise project management staff with regard to the technical aspects and administrative constraints of projects in order to meet City objectives.

A minimum of a bachelor's degree and six years of experience in managing information technology projects are required for this position. A valid PMP certification may be substituted for the educational requirement.
