Job Summary

The Floor Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for maintaining and restoring floors in assigned locations. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate industrial floor care equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Floor Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing regular floor maintenance tasks, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, and spray cleaning.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate industrial floor care equipment, such as floor buffers and extractors, to clean and maintain large areas of floor surface.
  • Waste Management: Properly process and dispose of municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by anticipating and responding to customer needs, and maintaining a friendly and positive attitude.
  • Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all Aramark safety standards, sanitation, and infection control procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role, with knowledge of floor care equipment and use.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read and write to facilitate proper communication with others, and perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and/or stand for extended periods of time.
