Facilities Care Specialist

As a Floor Maintenance Technician with City Wide Facility Solutions, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, contributing to the delivery of exceptional facilities management services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine floor care tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, buffing, and polishing as directed.
- Clean windows are part of floor care responsibilities.
- Identify floor types and apply appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down floor care equipment (e.g., buffers, burnishers, scrubbers).
- Adhere to company and OSHA safety guidelines when handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Support senior floor technicians with additional cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and report minor equipment issues or necessary repairs.
- Pick up and drop off equipment, supplies, and chemicals as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring proper storage of tools and materials.

To be considered for this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance practices (preferred, optional).
- The physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform routine physical tasks.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, or weekends as needed.
- The ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and work well in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality service.
- The ability to document work through cell phone photos.
