Role Summary:

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the VP of Strategic Projects. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the execution of large-scale projects focused on abrasive blasting and protective coating facilities. This encompasses the design, construction, and commissioning of equipment supplied by BlastOne, with project values ranging from $5 million to $50 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full ownership of project delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.
  • Act as the principal liaison between BlastOne and clients, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Manage the overall project budget meticulously, including reporting and forecasting.
  • Evaluate, contract, and supervise general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Lead your project team in a collaborative and positive manner, aligning with BlastOne's core values.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Construction Management, coupled with relevant industrial experience.
  • A minimum of 10 to 20 years of Project Management experience, specifically in managing large-scale projects ($5 million and above).
  • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering principles.
  • Background in Design/Build Construction.
  • Proven track record in managing complex industrial construction and equipment projects.
  • Technical proficiency and experience with industrial equipment and construction-related projects are preferred.
  • Ability to interact professionally with C-Level management.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and engineering drawings.
  • Comprehensive understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Ability to apply engineering principles to solve construction challenges effectively.
  • Experience in process engineering and documentation is advantageous.
  • Capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments and resolve issues promptly.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in managing change.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and pneumatics is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple subcontractors effectively.
