About the Role

As a Reporter/Multimedia Journalist at WCBI-TV, you will be responsible for creating engaging stories for our audience. You will work independently to research, write, and produce news stories for broadcast and online platforms.

Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Shooting and editing video content
  • Writing and posting news stories
  • Executing live shots and providing coverage of local events
  • Participating in editorial meetings to discuss story ideas

You will also be expected to work closely with other members of the news team to ensure that our stories are accurate and informative.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a degree in Broadcast Journalism or a related field. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Benefits

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package. The estimated salary for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
