We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Litigation Attorney to join our team at American Advanced Management. As a key member of our legal department, you will be responsible for representing our healthcare facilities in various litigation matters.
Key Responsibilities- Employment Litigation Defense
- Defend against wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, and wage and hour claims
- Conduct internal investigations and respond to demand letters and HR complaints
- Business and Commercial Litigation
- Represent our company in customer/vendor disputes, including reviewing invoices and contracts
- Prepare and file complaints, respond to demand letters, and conduct investigations
- Autonomous Work
- Work independently to research, prepare, and file legal documents
- Communicate with employees and management, and coordinate special projects
- Document Management
- File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports
- Compile data and prepare papers for consideration by executives and committees
- California State Bar license
- 1-5 years of hands-on litigation experience
- Admitted to all California Courts
- Strong work ethic and ability to prioritize and stay motivated
- Experience in trial, arbitration, and mediation
- Knowledge of employment laws and experience with employment litigation
- Additional experience in healthcare/patient collections, malpractice, elder abuse, and negligence
