Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including toileting, vital signs, transferring, bathing, dressing, and washing, as requested by residents and under the direction of nursing and medical staff.
- Listen to residents' and families' concerns and respond promptly, providing clear and empathetic communication.
- Assist with dining room responsibilities, including serving meals and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Ensure a safe environment during resident activities, adhering to established protocols and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; one year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid State of Florida Certified Nursing Assistant Certification and current CPR certification required.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence, and speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
The physical demands of this role require regular standing, sitting, talking, and hearing, as well as occasional climbing, balancing, and lifting up to 25 pounds. The employee must be able to discern colors, such as skin tones, and hear clearly with or without listening devices.
