Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Instructor to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching mathematics courses, developing curriculum, and assessing student learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics courses, including developmental and college-level mathematics
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with departmental and institutional goals
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and technologies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching mathematics courses at the college level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the classroom and in the broader institution
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with learning management systems and educational technologies
  • Knowledge of alternative teaching methods and technologies
  • Experience working with diverse student populations
