We are seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our team at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital New Brunswick. As a critical care travel nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Certification Requirements
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
  • Job Details
    • You must be willing to work 2 out of 3 holidays.
    • The patient ratio in the Cath Lab/Physiology department may vary depending on the acuity of the patients.
    • As a critical care travel nurse, you must have at least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting.
    • You will be responsible for monitoring procedures alongside vital signs and hemodynamics, as well as managing post-procedure care and more.
    • The hospital uses the EPIC charting system.
    • Hospital-provided sets are available.
  • Job Requirements
    • You must have at least 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab or critical care setting.
    • Cath Lab and critical care experience are required.
    • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
    • You must be able to monitor procedures, manage post-procedure care, and have knowledge of Cath Lab procedures.
  • Schedule Information
    • You will be required to work on-call every 2-3 weeks, including weekends.
    • The schedule includes working 24-hour shifts, including Fridays from 7pm to 7am, Saturdays from 7am to 7am (Sunday), and Sundays from 7am to 7am (Monday).
    • No block schedules are allowed.
  • Unit Specific Information
    • The Cath Lab 3 department requires a 3:1 patient ratio.
    • The types of procedures performed in the Cath Lab include Cath, PCI, Stent, and Pre/Post Care.
  • Additional Details
    • RWJBH HOLIDAY POLICY requires denoting all RTO on submission.
    • Local candidates are accepted.
