Overview
Demanding a highly skilled candidate for our Tire Technician role at Discount Tire, we are seeking an expert to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. As a Tire Technician, you will be responsible for installing new tires and wheels, performing tire maintenance, including rotations, balancing, repairs, and cleaning, as well as adhering to safety guidelines and best practices.
Salary: $15-$16 per hour
Job Description
As a Tire Technician, your primary duties will include:
- Installing new tires and wheels on cars, trucks, and commercial vehicles
- Maintaining tires through rotations, balancing, repairs, and cleaning
- Ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Participating in hands-on, on-the-job training
- Providing exceptional customer service
Required Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual who is able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and thrive in a team environment. The ideal candidate will have an upbeat outlook, be coachable, and trainable, with a passion for working in a physically demanding environment.
