Job Overview

Cash Waggner & Associates is seeking a skilled Professional Land Surveyor to contribute to our projects by ensuring precise field measurements and comprehensive documentation utilizing cutting-edge technology and advanced tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with engineers and surveying personnel on civil and site development, transportation design, and construction initiatives.
  • Participate in projects including roadways, airports, railways, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Oversee and guide field crew operations.
  • Evaluate boundary investigations and field surveys, including route and property surveys, as well as ALTA/NSPS surveys.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with the principles, practices, and tools associated with computer-aided drafting.
  • Understanding of civil engineering concepts, construction specifications, plans, and regulations.
  • Awareness of industry-specific safety practices and workplace standards.
  • Ability to manage office tasks efficiently, prioritize work, and maintain effective communication with colleagues and clients.
  • Willingness to travel locally within a 300-mile radius.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license is mandatory.

Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor.
  • Licensure in Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan is preferred, or the capability to obtain licensure in those states within six months of employment.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:
  • Must be capable of traveling to various project locations.
  • Ability to access and navigate job sites and construction zones.
  • Competence in operating motorized equipment.
  • Ability to work outdoors in diverse environmental conditions.
