About the Position

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Clinical Professor to join our team at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine. As a Clinical Professor, you will play a key role in the instruction and development of clinical learning experiences for our medical students.

Responsibilities
  • Academics and Teaching: Participate directly in the instruction and development of clinical learning experiences in the 4-year continuum of medical student education.
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Participate in the development of educational programs and curricula, and provide input on course design and delivery.
  • Precepting and Supervision: Precept and supervise medical students in clinical settings, providing formal and informal instruction and supervision.
  • Service to the College and University: Participate in committees and service activities within the college and university, and contribute to community relations efforts to enhance the visibility and reputation of the Department, College, and University.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Board Certified DO Physician in NMM, Family Medicine, General Internal Medicine.
  • Teaching Experience: Curricular and teaching experience in formal and informal teaching, and learner supervision and evaluation.
  • Clinical Experience: Clinical patient care and clinical team experience.
  • Leadership and Communication Skills: Exceptional written and oral communication skills, and outstanding leadership and teaching skills.
