Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and safe driver to provide transportation services for seniors and individuals with disabilities in the Clawson area.


Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Center-provided vehicles to transport passengers to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other destinations.
  • Assist passengers with wheelchairs and ensure their safe loading and unloading from the vehicle.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily transportation schedules, mileage, and passenger counts.
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Director of Recreation and Senior Services.
  • Participate in regular trainings on passenger sensitivity, wheelchair securement, and CPR.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and excellent communication skills. You should also be able to lift 50 pounds and work independently with minimal supervision.


Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience.
