About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our Electrical team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems for a wide range of projects, including power generation and distribution, lighting systems, fire alarms, security, and access control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in design development using Revit and AGI Lighting software
  • Assist in verifying that all design aspects comply with local code and apply code provisions
  • Perform field inspections, measurements, or calculations and document
  • Assist in research to material qualities, feasibility, restrictions, etc.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to provide a coordinated design
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Electrical Technology and/or a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years electrical (architectural) engineering design experience
  • Intermediate to advanced level of Revit and AGI Lighting software skills
  • Passion for power, lighting, and fire alarm design
  • Willingness to travel to client locations, as needed
  • EIT is a plus but not required
