Job Summary

Caliber Collision is seeking a skilled Auto Painter Assistant to join our team. As an Auto Painter Assistant, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for painting, working closely with our experienced Auto Painters to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sand and buff vehicles to prepare them for painting
  • Maintain a clean and organized paint booth and workspace
  • Assist Auto Painters in repairing vehicles thoroughly, safely, and profitably in accordance with Caliber and OEM standards
  • Operate state-of-the-art equipment, including 3M Collision Repair Products

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under Caliber's insurance policy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs.
  • Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize competing tasks and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment
