Qualifications and Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and meet the following criteria:
* Completion of an accredited vocational nursing program
* Certification from the California Board of Vocational Nursing
* Current First Aid and CPR certifications
* A valid California driver's license with the ability to travel between various school locations.
* Submission of two recent letters of reference.
* All required documentation must accompany the application for consideration.

It is essential that the Licensed Vocational Nurse, CPR, and First Aid certifications are included with the application. The Lancaster School District does not accept online courses for CPR and First Aid certifications.

Applicants must successfully navigate each component of the selection process to advance further.

No written examination will be conducted; applications will be evaluated for interview opportunities.

Performance testing details will be determined.

If five qualified candidates from the Lancaster School District meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled through promotion.
