Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Williamsburg Village Healthcare Campus in DeSoto, TX. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and creating a positive resident experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care: Evaluate and implement care plans, administer medications, and provide compassionate care to residents.
  • Lead and manage nursing staff: Supervise and direct nursing staff, evaluate performance, and provide training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams: Work with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports: Document patient information, progress notes, and other relevant data.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives: Contribute to quality improvement projects and initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
  • Experience in long-term care: Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
  • Leadership and management skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in supervising and directing nursing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
