Cafeteria Assistant/Custodian Job Description

Cresthaven Academy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cafeteria Assistant/Custodian to join our team. As a key member of our food service and custodial operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Cafeteria Operations: Assist with setting up and breaking down tables and meal service stations daily, support the clean up of scholar meals during breakfast and lunch time periods, and ensure the Point of Sale machine is up and running daily.
  • Custodial Operations: Take out and dispose of garbage, clean and restock bathrooms, sweep and vacuum areas throughout the building, and support custodial operations elsewhere as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • Demonstrated ability for the work to be performed
