Job Summary:

PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a Walk-In Clinic (Primary Care) setting. As a core member of the interdisciplinary care team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to patients under the supervision of physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement patient care under supervision, preparing patients for examination.
  • Provide direct patient care, assisting providers with examination and treatment as directed.
  • Under the oversight of a licensed provider, may be responsible for telephone triage using age-specific triage protocol books and computerized resources.
  • Document patient care in the health record according to department standards.
  • Obtain and convey information to and from patients, pharmacies, and other providers as directed and supervised by a licensed provider.

Requirements:

  • Accredited State Board of Nursing LPN Program Required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an LPN.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age-specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse - Washington.
  • Basic Life Support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications.
  • Cooperative working and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide variety of patients, families, and staff.
  • Effective prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple clinical tasks at one time.
