Job Summary

As an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in our registry position, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all services are delivered in accordance with the mission statement and SPIRIT values of LifeBridge Health. Under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist, you will complete designated structured/standardized evaluation/re-eval tasks, conduct general activity programs, and assist in planning and implementing treatment programs for individuals limited by psychosocial dysfunction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with the mission and values of LifeBridge Health
  • Work collaboratively with the rehabilitation team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and goals
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and strategies
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant Studies
  • Less than 2 years of experience preferred, with psychosocial practice background a plus
  • CPR certification from the American Heart Association
  • Initial COTA certification by the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board (AOTCB) or National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
