We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Lead Infant/Toddler Educator at Wu Yee Children's Services. As a key member of our early childhood education team, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age and developmentally appropriate curriculum for children, maintaining a safe and healthy learning environment, and providing exceptional care and education to our youngest learners.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Plan and implement a comprehensive curriculum that meets the unique needs and abilities of our infant and toddler students.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication with families, colleagues, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and support.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor student progress and adjust curriculum and instruction accordingly.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
- Education: AA Degree in ECE/CD or AA Degree in Social Science with 24 ECE/CD units.
- Experience: 2 years of teaching experience, with 3 infant/toddler units required and 3 infant/toddler units to be completed within the first 6 months of hire.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to young children.
- Competitive Salary: $41.34 - $43.30 per hour, with additional compensation for bilingual staff.
- Benefits Package: Fully paid employee health, dental, and vision, 403b with matching contribution after 1 year, and a wellness program stipend of $250.00 per month.
