Area Representative

The Area Representative plays a vital role in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) ministry, serving as a key leader in the development and implementation of the organization's vision and mission. This position is responsible for building and leading a team of volunteers to engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes in the assigned area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Ministerial Duties: The Area Representative will agree with and abide by FCA's Christian Community Statement, follow a spiritual rhythm, and lead, conduct, and provide spiritual leadership for staff, volunteers, coaches, and athletes.
- Ministry Advancement: The Area Representative will engage, equip, and empower coaches and athletes through one-on-one meetings, huddles, and events, and train and equip staff and volunteers to empower coaches and athletes to be disciples who make disciples.
- Talent Advancement: The Area Representative will oversee recruiting, training, and developing effective and diverse volunteers who lead coaches and athletes into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.
- Board Advancement: The Area Representative will invite, involve, and invest in an Advisory Team committed to praying, serving, and giving.
- Donor Advancement: The Area Representative will connect, communicate, and care for existing and prospective financial partners to get fully funded.
- International Advancement: The Area Representative will work with the Director to serve the aligned International Region by praying, giving, and going.
The Area Representative will serve on the Greater Spotsylvania FCA Team, which includes Spotsylvania, Caroline, and King George counties. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about serving God and making a difference in the lives of coaches and athletes.
