Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse

Estimated Salary: $110,000 per year

About the Job:

• This position requires availability to work forty (40) hours every four (4) weeks, including one Monday or one Friday every four weeks.
• The nurse should also be available to work one Outpatient Saturday every four months.

Responsibilities:

• Collecting and analyzing data, identifying expected outcomes, developing, and implementing an individualized plan for patient care.
• Directing care and determining the appropriate utilization of any assistant involved in providing direct patient care.
• Collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and ancillary staff to create a documented plan focused on patient outcomes.
• Participating in shared governance, committee work, and unit projects.
• Evaluating and documenting patient responses to nursing interventions in the health record.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Current State of Illinois Registered Professional Nurse
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate with others
• Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) acceptable with commitment to obtain a BSN from an accredited program within three years of first day of employment in clinical nurse role.
