Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager / Estimator to become an integral part of our project management team. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of projects from inception to completion. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Participating in project initiation meetings with team leaders to provide a thorough understanding of project specifics and requirements.
  • Working closely with field supervisors to ensure timely project completion while adhering to budgetary constraints and safety regulations.
  • Facilitating effective communication among fabrication teams, field staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize workflow and minimize delays.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance productivity and quality assurance. You will serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and concerns.
  • Once acclimated, you will handle bid solicitation, job cost estimation, submittal preparation, and conflict resolution, ensuring all documentation is accurate and timely.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on estimation projects, ensuring timely and competitive bid submissions.
  • Develop strong client relationships to secure future bidding opportunities.
  • Gain proficiency in Revit to improve project planning and execution.
  • Assist in the rollout of new software tools, providing training to team members for smooth transitions.
  • Engage in occasional travel for training and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC or Sheet Metal project management and/or estimating.
  • Proficient in using estimation software and onscreen takeoff tools.
  • Familiarity with Trimble Autobid Mechanical & Sheet Metal is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment.
