Child Care Specialist

As a Child Care Specialist at The Good Samaritan Society, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and development of children in our care. This is a part-time position, working 19 hours per week, with a salary range of $16.25 per hour.
Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and nurturing environments for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social growth.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with parents, employees, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with parents to develop and implement daily plans and activities that support children's learning and socialization.
- Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a positive attitude while caring for multiple children with diverse needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum one year experience in a child care or related field.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 60 days of hire.
