Job Description

Vibra Travels is seeking a skilled travel nurse RN to fill a Med Surg / Telemetry position in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Med Surg / Telemetry environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in acute care and be able to work effectively in a team-based setting.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to Med Surg / Telemetry patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
  • Participate in shift report and handovers to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels (e.g. ACLS, PALS, NRP)
  • 1 full year of RN experience; Diploma or Associate of Science Degree in Nursing required
  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred
  • Ability to project a professional image
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant
  • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions
