Job Summary

The College of Science and Engineering at Texas State University is seeking a pool of qualified candidates for temporary, non-tenure track faculty positions in the Department of Mathematics. These appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon student demand and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach one to four courses per semester in mathematics-related subjects
  • Develop and implement curriculum to meet the needs of students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide service activities
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education, or a closely related field, with 18 graduate hours in mathematics
  • Candidates with degrees in closely related fields must meet SACS accreditation standards to teach in a mathematics department
  • Preferred qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education, and previous teaching experience
