Fox Pest Control is seeking a Pest Professional Technician in our Albany, NY branch. We depend on our Pest Pros to be independent, diligent individuals with strong customer service skills. The ideal candidate is a dedicated worker who seeks personal and professional growth opportunities.
A Day in the Life of a Pest Professional
As a Pest Professional at Fox Pest Control, your primary responsibility will be to service our clients' homes and offices using our state-of-the-art products.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Identifying, selecting, mixing, and applying products or suitable wildlife solutions in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
- Specializing in residential structures to manage nuisance pests such as squirrels, raccoons, mice, rats, bats, snakes, foxes, coyotes, bees, and wasps through inspections, traps, and other deterrents.
- Relocating and removing species with care and consideration, as well as repairing and preventing further occurrences.
Company training and equipment will be provided to ensure your success as a Pest Professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Take responsibility and initiative on your assigned service route or as necessary.
- Build positive relationships, demonstrate strong influencing skills, and effectively communicate value to current and potential customers.
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate solid organizational and time management skills.
- Utilize sound reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Analyze pest control activity to explain, sell, and implement effective plans of action to reduce pest activity.
- Learn and follow servicing protocols to apply chemical solutions, powders, and gases safely.
- Comfortable working on ladders and roofs, and able to climb in attics.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
- Possess a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the US.
- This position is subject to a background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record check.
