Transmission Expert Wanted

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Transmission/Drivability Technician to join Colonial Chevrolet of Acton, a reputable Massachusetts dealership.

This role involves diagnosing and repairing transmission issues in various makes and models of vehicles, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair transmission problems in high-performance vehicles
  • Perform routine maintenance on complex transmission systems
  • Inspect and test vehicles to identify potential transmission issues
  • Disassemble, repair, and reassemble advanced transmissions
  • Ensure accurate and efficient repairs
  • Keep detailed records of all work performed
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's status
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an Automotive Transmission Technician
  • Deep knowledge of modern transmission systems and operation
  • Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • ASE certification is highly valued
Competitive Compensation:
  • $55-$65 per hour
