We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at AmeriCold Logistics. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse facilities, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform heavy cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces, as well as routine maintenance activities such as repairing equipment and reporting any issues to management.
- Grounds Maintenance: Ensure that the company grounds are free of litter and debris, and perform seasonal tasks such as removing ice and snow from pedestrian walkways and parking lots.
- Safety and Compliance: Work safely, report hazards to shift supervisors, and comply with OSHA standards and company safety procedures.
- Communication and Teamwork: Develop strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, management, and customers, and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals.
- Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred or at least one year related work experience.
- Skills: Ability to follow written or verbal instructions, solve routine problems, and understand and follow all safety rules, procedure manuals, and diagrams.
- Physical Demands: Frequently required to use hands to handle objects, talk or hear, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and taste or smell.
