About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Lead Full Stack Developer to join our growing internal IT team. As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for leading software development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing Software Solutions: You will design software solutions considering business needs, technology capabilities, and end-user requirements.
  • Defining Technical Standards: You will work with architects and technical members to establish software standards.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: You will collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and technical professionals, to ensure software solutions meet business needs.
  • Conducting Research: You will research emerging technologies and software development methodologies, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices.
  • Mentoring Junior Team Members: You will mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as they develop their skills and expertise.
  • Ensuring Quality: You will ensure software solutions are of high quality, conducting testing and quality assurance activities as needed.
  • Documenting Software Solutions: You will document software solutions, including requirements, design specifications, and user documentation.
  • Providing Technical Leadership: You will provide technical leadership, ensuring the team works in alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Developing Code: You will be responsible for writing and testing code, ensuring it meets software solution requirements.

Estimated Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year

Requirements and Qualifications

You must have at least 10 years of application development and support experience working as a hands-on lead on multiple projects and applications. A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required.

Technical Competencies

  • Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
  • Deep expertise and hands-on experience with web applications, frameworks, and programming languages such as React, node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SaaS, and APIs.
  • Experience building MicroServices.
  • Experience working on containers (Docker).
  • Deep knowledge of Front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React, and AngularJS.
  • Experience developing within the .Net framework (ASP.Net, C#, WCF Web services, MVC).
  • Experience working with Azure environment, DevOps, SharePoint Online, Blob, Office 365.
  • Experience using a Database such as Postgres, SQL Server, mySQL or mongoDb.
  • Experience with DevSecOps, Veracode, SonarQube, and Dynatrace.

Organizational Interfaces

You will report directly to the Web Services Manager and interact regularly with other IT team members, business users, Managers, and Principals. You may also work with external vendors.

Travel Requirements

This position requires less than 10% travel.
