Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Caretaker to join our team at QSAC, Inc.

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our physical office spaces, including performing routine maintenance tasks and identifying potential safety hazards.

The successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, as well as experience working in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a competitive salary of $16.00-$18.00 per hour, reflective of the importance of this role in our organization.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
  • Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as painting and repairing facilities
  • Identifying and reporting any potential safety hazards or issues

You will also be required to travel to our Whitestone and Douglaston schools, where you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of these facilities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in general maintenance and facility cleaning
  • A valid driver's license and excellent driving history
  • The ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
